Thought for the Day

'We've never liked crowds, nor believed in their wisdom.'

The word coward in this post jumped out like a sore thumb. For all their grandstanding, when it comes down to meaningful action there is no bigger group of coward than those who serve in the United States Congress.

Contacting those who are elected to represent us can be a maddening exercise. They have a built in "out" when it comes to responding which is called constituency. If you are not from their state, if you do not live in their district you are out in the cold.

What we need to do to solve the ills in this country is to once again make it The UNITED States of America. Red States/Blue States is killing us. We HAVE TO Make America Purple.

George Voinovich is held up as a God by many in Cleveland. As for Mike DeWine, he's not flashy but he gets the job done. {I've seen the commercials so I know} I mention Senator Voinovice because I am one of his constituents, I have written and asked him for help. He has not responded in any way. Join me, will you, and demand those at both ends of Pennsylvania Avenue are made ACCOUNTABLE.

I hope you will visit the website, explore the views and help in this effort. What do you have to lose, you may agree or disagree. The worst thing you can do is nothing. That may allow things to stay as they are; most likely it will contribute to things only getting worse.
